Recently we noticed many influencers are posting and bursting myths about shaving face & body parts.

 Shaving is considered for men with razors and advertised for men since ages . Since its 21st century things have drastically changed in beauty industry.

There is a boom in products which are acceptable to both men and women , cruelty free and chemical free . Companies are changing their values and approach towards products keeping in mind the voice on social media and more awareness towards brining the change in society.

 Women have changed their perspective towards shaving in recent years. More women are coming out and speaking their mind. Its the response which is leading the change in Industries.

Bursting some Myths on personal experience

Do women also shave their face?  Do they grow facial hair which are thick?

Yes, women shave their face with razors & No the hair growth is not thicker.

In Recent times, there have been many advertisement of shaving razors for women showing their arms, hands and their legs getting shaved but none for face.

The market has introduced facial razors for women but not advertised. The razors are modern and with easy to use features.

If we start advertising these razors on television there is a possibility that the awareness of facial hair removing and myths starts bursting

Influencer marketing is a great way to advertise the product and to be introduced in the market , but due to a lot of influencing on the same product the trust building may slow down as it can convert to paid promotion for some people.

-          To avoid cuts, make sure to follow the instruction on the packaging

-          There can be irritation & redness for a very small time

-          Some may get infection, so patch test is necessary.

-          Apply aloe gel or moisturizer to soothe the skin after shave and avoid irritation

 As the razors are mostly user friendly and skin sensitive they can be used by most of women out there.

The demand for razors have increased due to lockdown a lot women have experimented and found out an easy alternative to save up on salon expenses.

Personal View:

Started using during Covid -19 lockdown and never went to salon back for waxing

Thanks to a lot of companies offering great range and user –friendly razors.

I bought mine in a drugstore (Chemist).

A change in industry which is thoughtful yet needs more marketing to remove the myths and misunderstandings.
